Training Partner

I was talking to someone at the triathlon and they were telling me how a group of people got together to train for the event. In my mind I thought, 'I prefer to train alone' but I really don't. I have the best training partner ever, he does cry once in a while but for the most part he is pretty good company, and he lets me pick the music we listen to. (We do need to work on getting him to enjoy the water a little more.)

Kind of a Big Deal

I know, it shouldn't be but it is kind of a big deal that Ridge holds his own cup.

The Trick

Some people teach their kids useful things like how to wave goodbye or how to use a spoon. Not me.

Chuqui

Ridge sure does love Chuqui, too bad it took me a while to get the camera, because Ridge was enjoying his time with Chuqui even more before I started recording.

Babysitter

I watch a friend's baby occasionally so she can work. Ridge likes to keep him happy by putting on shows for him.

That boy is fast!

Tubes

On June 30 at 6:45a.m. we reported to the hospital with little Ridge. He was scheduled to have a surgery on his ears, to get tubes. Ridge had 8 ear infections in his first 10 months of life so the doctors said that was enough to qualify for tubes. Ridge coudn't eat anything before, so he was pretty hungry when he woke back up. He drank a whole sippy cup and then ate breakfast. The doctor said everything went well with the surgery and now air can enter into his ear to keep it dried up. The tubes should fall out within a year but until then Ridge must swim with ear plugs.
