On June 30 at 6:45a.m. we reported to the hospital with little Ridge. He was scheduled to have a surgery on his ears, to get tubes. Ridge had 8 ear infections in his first 10 months of life so the doctors said that was enough to qualify for tubes. Ridge coudn't eat anything before, so he was pretty hungry when he woke back up. He drank a whole sippy cup and then ate breakfast. The doctor said everything went well with the surgery and now air can enter into his ear to keep it dried up. The tubes should fall out within a year but until then Ridge must swim with ear plugs.
It's harder on the parents than on the child, isn't it? We are so glad he is doing so well now!
